A study rayon satin tie from the 1940's. The patterned satin is an olive green color. The pattern is paisley, and only if one takes a really good look, you can see a small hunter in a paisley jungle. he is holding a spear and a shield, as he approaches the two lime green deer he is stalking. A very clever design. The paisley has orange, and lime green with pale green designs. The label is the highly regarded Beau Brummell. This tie was originally sold in Cleveland, OH, at a store called Higbee Co. There ate two flaws that I circled in the close ups. What looks like a tag hole near one of the deer, and a burn hole on the underside, that no one will ever see. The tie measures 3 7/8 ths inches wide, and 53" long.
