This tie may be the perfect gift for the wine connoisseur, now that I see this tie depicts white grapes against a pale yellow background, with dark purple leaves. As you can see from the label, this is an original 1940s war time tie, not a reproduction. The grey top and bottom make it a wonderful match for a grey or black suit or sports coat. I apologize for the uneven lighting when I shot these pictures. Now that I am looking at it again, the tie looks much better in real life, with no noticeable fade. On the underside of the tie front tip, there is a slight stain, which means at one point, it encountered a liquid, but its almost impossible to see the effects on the front of the tie. Still, I am discounting it, as the color may have been compromised...its just so close, I can't say for sure. Normally I sell these for more.
