Super cute 1940s dress by Steven Arnold. Has a high neckline that ties at the neck, matching belt, and shrug. Dress is an amazing bright warm tomato red in a slim pencil cut with a high neckline, side metal zipper, and cap sleeves. This dress also features snaps in the shoulders that were likely for shoulder pads (they are just the side that goes in and there are two that are about 2 inches apart.) Has a short sleeve matching bolero/shrug with cuffed sleeves and a rounded peter pan type collar. The belt is in excellent condition with no signs of dry rot.
Fabric is a cotton or cotton blend with a slubbed texture.
It is shown unpinned but belted on my 34-25-34 mannequin.
