40s "surrealism" Wide Necktie From Tuscon's "korby's" Arizona Red Ballerina Dead Tree Fallen Arch Shattered Mirror by D'lorak

A wonderful example for fashion imitating art, several surrealist ties were made after Salvador Dali , the famous surrealist artist, started designing and selling neckties. I had one Dali tie, that sold years ago , for $300. This is not a Dali, but it is telling the same story, and it in good condition. Just a few minor stains that are hard to see, and will get lighter with each successive dry cleaning. No snags, or tears. The label has come lose on one end, but the label says it all, with cactus on each side, , because back in the 1940s, that is all Tucson had!!! Could be silk or rayon satin. Red is not a Christmas red, but a darker red. Mountains and mirror are a pale lavender. Dancers and sand bar are yellow. Lined in white. Selling this will leave me with one last surrealist tie, and that's all I really need ( Not a Dali). The width is 4" and the length is 53" . Great gift!
