This is a beautiful late 1940s two tone glen plaid all weather coat. By Debutogs New York.

The fabric is a medium weight rayon and cotton blend gabardine glen plaid in shades of brown and taupe as pictured.

The collar features rounded edges and the sleeves have turnback cuffs.

Novelty right and left hip level oversized pouch pockets with decorative flaps as pictured.

The back features a 16" inverted center back walking pleat as pictured.

The center back is accented with two narrow flanged pleats accented with topstitching from the bottom of the collar to the center pleat.

There are shoulder pads between the coat and lining.

The coat is fully lined with soft taupe satin (probably acetate).

Does up the center front with four 1" diameter striated brown/taupe lucite buttons as pictured.

Mid to lower calf length. I'm 5'4" and the coat falls to my lower calf.

SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below and leaving room for clothes underneath, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Medium.

CONDITION: Excellent. There are no stains, holes, rips, tears, snags, fading, discoloration, odors or other issues.
