This is a very unique vintage late 1940's to early 1950's box purse. It is made of off white, soft simulated leather with intricate shirring and coffin pleating. It has a navy blue grosgrain lining. It features a double top handle and a large mirror on the underside of the lid. The mirror could be removed for cleaning or replacement. This bag is very sturdy with a rectangular shape, brass metal frame and front clasp closure. It is a very functional piece of vintage fashion!
