This is a very unique vintage late 1940's to early 1950's box purse. It is made by "Theodor California" and is documented in the 1953 Christmas ad shown. It is made of brown suede calfskin with a brown satin lining. It features a top twist knot cord handle, an inner side pouch pocket and a large mirror on the underside of the lid. The mirror can be removed for cleaning or replacement. This bag is very sturdy with a nearly square cut and a front snap closure. It is a very functional piece of vintage fashion!

It measures: 6 3/4" wide, 5 3/4" high and is 2 3/4" deep.

Very good condition, there is some discoloration on the mirror's satin frame and the mirror itself shows age wear.
