Vintage 1950s, black, curly lambswool cape. Sweet little cape with built in pockets on the front tabs. There are no tags in this cape but I'm basing the age on the hat and muff that came with it. The hat has a tag of Evans, Chicago which was an active hatmaker in the early 1950s. That seems a reasonable age for both the muff and cape as well. The hat and muff will be in separate listings.

Condition:
Good vintage condition. The cape is overall clean and sound structurally. This is actual, authentic lambswool, not faux synthetic. The reason I know this is that there is one small tear on the right chest area where I can see the hide on the underside (see pictures). I have not attempted to clean this.

Mannequin measures 37-27-38 for reference.
Bust: Fits well on the mannequin, but can be somewhat flexible on sizing because
it is a cape.
Shoulders: 15 1/2"
Front length: 22"
Back length: 18"
Side length: 16"

Good condition, size L (10 - 12) and M (6 - 8).
