Lovely 1940s black silk velvet purse with twisted handle. Pretty curved brass clasp. Lined with gold satin. Flat bottom. No makers labels present. It holds quite a bit and opens up wide. Good condition but there are a few small moth nibbles which aren’t very apparent. It measures 9” wide at the bottom, 5.5” high, 3.5” deep, with 5” handle drop.
