This is a lovely 30s black lace jacket dress. The dress has a large dagger collar with longer short sleeves that are gathered at the shoulders and puffed slightly. The dress buttons up the front with black rayon-covered buttons past the waist seam and they end just at the start of the hips. From here the dress hangs open and falls to the floor. In the back, there is a slight train. The dress is fully lined in a nude bobinette and is a closed skirt in the front with a small placket at the waistline to help it get on over the hips. The dress is so stunning and probably would have had a slip to wear underneath.

Condition:
The dress’s black lace robe part is in Great condition overall with only two repaired in the hem. The bobinette lining on the dress is in poor condition but could be removed to have a stunning robe/jacket. It could be patterned and replaced if desired. There are large scattered holes in the skirt around the hips. In the Under arms, there are also large holes and some scattered as well as color bleed turning the nude a green-ish collar mostly in the armpit area. All the damage to the lining is hard to see due to the colors of both and could be worn as if too if desired. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
