This is a lovely black silk velvet early 30s day dress. The dress has a square neckline with the sides scalloped and the pattern continuing down to the waistline. The dress is loose-fitted and the in-between style of a drop waist and the bias-cut dress to come. The sleeves on this dress are so fun, they are wider bell sleeves that are also scalloped. The skirt of the dress falls past the knees.

Condition:
The dress is in a good condition overall. The only flaw is that there was some silk de chine lining along the neckline and cuffs that have begun to shred. It has been left in case you would like to reline the dress but it is not necessary and could easily be removed. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
