Off white crochet coverlet. Like new, vintage - possibly antique 1930's or 1940's crochet bedspread coverlet. Lovely snowflake diamonds in star pattern, tassel fringe with lovely scalloped edge.

I do not know if handmade or machine but very consistent beautiful work. One owner, family item that appears to have been stored in the chest for many years as was a special piece. There is no damage or wear to speak of and actually looks unused.

Fits Double Bed or Queen depending on how you want the drop. believe designed for a double bed.

Very clean and from a smoke free household. No funky smells, rips, stains, or tears. LIKE NEW vintage.

Picture show the bedspread on a Queen bed that sits relatively low to the ground. On my queen it looks like a pretty nice fit but would most likely work on a tall antique double bed. Obviously you would put it overtop of a bedspread, I did not do this so as to show the coverlet detail better. Let me know if you need more information to get a perfect fit.

Hand wash is recommended for all fine antique linens, to preserve the neatness of the tassels, select a dry spot on your lawn -- without any fresh grass clippings -- and gently stretch it flat so the weave will remain pressed. Flip it over after 1/2 a day on one side. I do not know if dry cleaning is an option for an antique piece but a professional -high end- dry cleaner would be able to advise.
