Incredible 1930s Accordian Pleated Wool Skirt with Rare Weave Through Waistband in Excellent Condition🖤🤍

2" fitted waistband has super rare and very era specific finished openings for a thin belt to be woven through. This style is unmistakable and ever elusive. Pictured is an example of a similar style skirt from an early to mid 30s Sears Catalogue.

Sharp and precise accordian pleating all the way around.

Left side closure with 2 hook and eyes, 1 metal snap and a metal Talon zipper.

Inside are original cotton hanger loops,

Perfect 2" hem is finished with bias tape.

This is an exceptional investment piece and vintage wardrobe staple. It's exceptionally rare to find a skirt from this era with this sort of detail in such beautiful condition. As opposed to fast fashion, a garment like this one carries with it a quality and character that isn't easily replaced.
