This antique French heirloom is ready to bring warmth, texture, and style to your home! It is very large in size, measuring at 100" x 84" and was entirely hand crocheted in the 1920's. It's design is both intricate and beautiful with a lovely open floral motifs connected by geometric diamond design.  It was skillfully made from light weight off-white colored cotton thread.  The details and craftsmanship are something to marvel!  It would be perfect as a bed cover, textile art wall hanging, or as a throw for your couch.  Crochet is a handwork technique popularized in France in the early 1800s. This technique was used in some of the finest European heirlooms.
