10s/Edwardian Romantic Pale Pink Striped Organdy Tea Dress$225.00
This is a beautiful romantic Edwardian to 1910s era dress in a pale pink cotton. The dress has a cute floral lace neckline and is trimmed in a lovely white seed bead and glass pearl trim. The dress has an empire waist and has ¾ length sleeves. The skirt of the dress is simple and hangs straight with a small gather in the front along the center seam that adds a little fun. There is also a little silk bow/sash that has a buckle covered in little silk roses. The dress fastens up the back with little hooks and eyes.
Condition:
The dress is overall in wonderful condition with the only flaw to note is that the bow has seen better days. The ribbon is badly frayed and the roses are as well. It is a pretty, but frizzy mess. The dress, not the bauble, has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
The green in the silk ribbon tends to bleed out and there is wire sometimes used in these to help keep their shape that would rust. It also is in no condition to be laundered. It has no odor or stains.
The last photo shows a small stain as well as the texture of the fabric, the large dark spot is a shadow from my hand.
