This is a stunning 1910s black taffeta and lace gown. The gown has a fun cream tango-style lace collar and a faint V-ed neckline. The dress fastens up the front with hooks and eyes. The dress also has a shawl-style collar in black taffeta with (?) trim. The bodice is entirely made of an absolutely stunning black chantilly lace still in a shawl style and there is a black net bodice under that. The dress has long sleeves with dainty lace cuffs. The skirt starts at the natural waist and has a taffeta belt with a large bow on the front. The skirt is so much fun with its layers of wide ruffles on ruffles, 5 in total. It has a slightly fuller silhouette and falls to the ankles. the dress dose have a stage that reads: Julius Garfunkel, Washington, New York, Pairs.

Condition:
The dress is in okay condition and is being sold as-is. The most noticeable issue is that the cream silk lining is almost completely gone and small shredding fragments remain. The lining is only in the bodice and was made of super thin tissue silk. Someone in the past has tried to support the lining and patched a large section on the left side in a silk crepe.
