LUXURY BURGUNDY BLACK SILK VELVET BURNOUT BEADED FULL SWING SKIRT
by
HARARI
In 1979, after crossing paths at an obscure flea market, Barbara Keller and Dan Harari discovered they had a shared love of world travel, art, style, and vintage clothing. Together, with their shared collective international experiences the soon-to-be wife and husband team created Harari, their own line of clothing, prints and textiles.
Harari embodied a vibrant mix of wearable art infused with passion and panache. As the designer, Barbara’s inspiration came from her love of Japanese kimonos, exotic gardens, and the diverse cultures of her many travels.
From its flea market beginnings, Harari grew to become a highly-sought after, upscale, luxury brand. Its pieces were sold exclusively through its own boutiques that spanned multiple Western states in some five cities and through upscale department stores Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman.
Sadly Harari became both a casualty of the pandemic and of Barbara and Dan's desire to wind down in retirement.
Here we have an exceptionally beautiful Harari wearable art skirt! Honestly, I have never seen a Harari piece that I didn't utterly love and this one is no exception!
