RARE YVES SAINT LAURENT Circa 70's Dress

This is an AMAZING Circa 70's Yves Saint Laurent Dress. In the 70's Saint Laurent was inspired by traditional Russian Costume. So, he Designed the Haute Peasant Look! And here we have one of his Rive Gauche Designs. It is a Paisley Wool Challis and Trimmed with Ruffles in Silk Taffeta.

It has a Large Caplet Collar that ties in the Center and is Ruffled with a Border of Silk Taffeta in a Wine Color. The Sleeves are Bishop Sleeves and are stunning with Velvet Cuffs that close with three filigree buttons and a border of Silk Taffeta also. The Hem is also Bordered in a Ruffle of Silk Taffeta. The Fabric Design is a Paisley Print so popular in the 1970's. The Colors are lovely in: Red, Purple, Green, Blue, and Black. It also has a Drop Waist so it will Fit a variety of Sizes. This Dress would be STUNNING styled with Vintage Granny Boots!

This was sized in the 70's as a Size 40 in France. At that time, it would have been equivalent to a Size 10. It was designed to be loose and flowy. This Dress will best fit a Size 10 through a Size Large, and probably an Extra Large. Please check your measurements.

Near Mint Condition - This Lovely Couture Dress is qualified as Near Mint Condition. There were two miniscule holes in the fabric which have been expertly repaired by a qualified weaver. There are foibles to note. This Lovely is Ready for You to Wear!
