This is an Art Deco silhouette vase with a black on yellow horse and carriage image with a driver. An urn style vase from the 1920’s.

Here’s a chance to pick up something a little different for your collection! Is there a mantle space, book shelf, or special place for this Art Deco glass vase in your home?

These pieces were obtained from a estate auction from an avid Czech glass and pottery collector. While we purchased it as “Czech” with documented receipts however we want to make sure our buyer is aware Lancaster and other glass companies copied popular Czech designs. When Czech glass is unmarked from the early 1900’s pre WW I it is hard to discern the maker without expert experience. So we have been guided. Please research or be comfortable that art glass is beautiful! These pieces certainly are.

This glass vase is 9” tall with 3 1/4” opening and 3” base. It weighs 1 lb 4oz. There are normal signs of wear for the age. No chips or cracks. There is a hand scratched printing on bottom Czech-Slovakia. We infer nothing in particular from that informal scribe.
