Easy to wear, this wrap front black nylon Shadowline never worn negligee style robe is trimmed with 4 inches of black and white lace at the sleeve cuffs. New Old Stock, an original 1986 paper hang tag is still attached. A narrow removable black nylon self belt and internal ties keep it closed when you decide to wear it wrapped.

This is a well-made robe, with the high-end Shadowline Satin Lustre nylon.

Without a doubt this was part of a peignoir set, but unfortunately I only have the robe to offer for sale. Thankfully this will be delightful worn over almost any basic black or white gown, or over nothing but your totally bare birthday suit.

This super soft nylon fabric is machine washable and can be tumbled dry on low. Because the paper hang tag remains attached I haven't laundered this robe.

There are no pockets since this was meant to be more of a negligee style.

Shadowline was a lingerie company, located in Morganton, North Carolina. It was founded in 1946 by Sherrod Salsbury, Jr. The company had the reputation of producing lingerie of very high quality.

This was an original Salesroom sample, meant to be displayed in a Shadowline showroom. That is where department store and boutique lingerie buyers would come to see what was available to order. The salesroom is where they could buy merchandise in bulk for a future season.

It is in unworn Mint Pristine Vintage condition, worn briefly for this photo shoot.

There are no snags, all the seams are intact and there are no stains, holes or other issues.
