Amalfi Imports Wool Yellow Skirt Sweater Set Made in Italy VINTAGE

Beautiful fitted skirt with top. Closure for top is unusual, three buttonholes on each side. There was one yellow cord that has a knot in it, like it broke and somebody tied it. I’m not sure if you’re supposed to use that to tie the sides together, but that’s how I did it and I used a matching yellow yarn for the other two holes. There are sweater chains that would work nicely with this or you could just wear it open. It works as a top or a sort of over shirt/jacket. It is 100% wool, but not scratchy. Labeled a size 12, it definitely runs small as most vintage things do. Because it has stretch, and depending on how fitted you like things, it would probably work for a size 6 to 10. Skirt has a zipper and hook and eye closure in the back. Hand loomed in Italy. Approx measurements, skirt, 14” across waist, 18” across thigh area, 28” long, top, 18” underarm to underarm across back, 22” long. No major flaws.
