40s Vintage Ww2 Nurse Wool Cape Navy$99.00
Do you watch 'Go Call the Midwives?' You should because it's very good and the first few seasons are so fun because the clothing and set design takes place in the 40's and 50's. Anyway, this is the second nurses cape I have found. Unfortunately this particular cape isn't lined but it does have some interesting detail. The patch on the shoulder says' "Mercy" which I assume is from Mercy Hospital. There is also the heavy gold braided thread 'M. H.' on the standup collar. Single button closure at the top of the cape and a hook and eye at the neck. Initials are 'L. M.H.' and last of all there is a secret red wool lined inside pocket!
