Very nice set of wooden bowls. They are a light colored wood with the grain showing throughout. Gorgeous coloring. The origin of this set is unknown. What I do know is that they came from the estate of a beloved pastor in the East Texas area that did much travel abroad doing mission work as well as religious Christian studies. I was honored to be able to receive some of his estate pieces to find appreciative homes for. These bowls were in among his many items from abroad, and he did much work in Nepal and traveled to the Holy Lands as well. So I don't know the exact origin of these, but they possibly could be from those areas.
