wood box with inlay. It has a beautiful design on the lid and small diamonds all around the box. The inside is lined in a red velvet and has a mirror on the lid. Overall, in good condition with some minor signs of age and wear--scratches and patina. The inside has a slight smell--might just need to be aired out.
