mid-century modern 8 piece espresso serving set of ultra rare PRATA 90 silver plated coasters and mini cup holders, made in Brazil by by the well-esteemed, and revered Brazilian Silversmith Company, of Soppil Wolfe. This set includes 4 coasters and 4 mini cups / cup holders. The shaping and design of the set screams MCM. The coasters are square in shape with rounded corners and indented circles in their middles for cups to sit. The underside of each have their original stickers which read, "WOLFF silver plated MADE IN BRAZIL". The mini cup holders feature a brilliant design. They have a low, round body with unique shaped angular handles with cut out circle shapes in the handles. If you look closely around the edges of the cup holders you will notice hand made micro splits. These are part of the design and allow for the cups holders to hold different sizes of porcelain and/or glass espresso cups of your selection. The undersides of the cups are all engraved, "PRATA 90 WOLFF made in BRAZIL". They were designed and created in the early 1960s and are now ready to bring some MCM flair to your daily espresso.

Condition:
Great condition with no structural issues. They have beautiful aged patina (the cups more so than the saucers), but the patina could be comply polished off if you prefer a newer look. Each piece has either it's original makers sticker or makers engraving. The set comes from a smoke free home.
