This 50s dress is just a wonderful concoction of tulle and nylon chiffon. The dress is strapless and is covered in scalloped nylon chiffon ruffles that give the top a crumb catcher style. The top is fully boned for support and has a metal zipper on the left side. The waist on the dress is accented by the taffeta cummerbund that cinches in the waist. The skirt of this dress is wonderfully full and falls to about knee length. It hangs asymmetrically and is more of the nylon chiffon with the scalloping ruffles. The rest of the skirt, which falls to the floor, is made of a layer of tulle. The top two layers are just straight tulle and then underneath is a tulle ruffled crinoline. There is also a gigantic taffeta bow on the left side where the ruffled part of the skirt sits up higher. The dress is fully lined in white rayon.

Condition:

The dress is overall in great condition with only a few small flaws. There were some rips in the tulle near the hem that have been repaired. This dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.

Dress is displayed with additional petticoats, not included, to give it even more volume.
