This abstract floral, watercolor print 1950s dress in lovely polished cotton features soft shades of grey, pink, green, and white. The dress has wide scoop neckline and cuffed elbow-length sleeves. The bodice is shaped with vertical seaming, above the dropped waist seam. Below, the full skirt is gathered and pleated into this seam, located at about high hip level (about 3 inches below the natural waist). The soft, smooth fabric is unlined, and the dress is fastened with a metal zipper at the center back. This summery 1950s cotton dress is in excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear. We will include a piece of bow-shaped matching fabric that came to us with the dress. It was almost certainly attached to the dress at one time, but we thought it looked great without it, so will leave that up to the purchaser to decide.
