Vintage Women 70s Halter Pleated Ruched Cummerbund Dress

This stylish elegant purple dress is made from a high quality jersey knit.

The top is a halter top with a jeweled neckline.

The bodice focuses on draping the jersey beautifully in the front which creates soft pleats effect.

Between bodice and skirt is an elaborate jersey cummerbund with detailed stitching going down the center.

Back of dress has soft purple pearlized button at the top to create a keyhole opening with the jersey gently draping down and to the sides.

Towards the bottom of the keyhole is a hook and eye.

At the waist, another hook and eye has been placed with a zipper right underneath.

Material is a rich purple hue fit for royalty with the material being of a very high quality.

Approximate Measurements Laid Flat:
Bust: 15”
Waist: 12”
Hips: 16”
Length: 40”

Condition is good except for one minor flaw.
A 1/4” hole that goes through only the first layer of the jersey material and can be found at the ruching cummerbund area on the right side (see last two photos).

There is no label, but the design
and quality of the purple jersey knit material reveals this spectacular elegant dress came from an expensive department store.
