Vintage Vase Molded Roses Flowers In Amber Cherry Resin$34.00
This is a super unusual and cool vase that is made of amber-colored resin with a touch of cherry color and has molded roses tipped in white along the sides. It’s gorgeous when the light shows through.
The vase is 6 ¾” high and 6” wide at the widest part. The mouth opening (where flowers would be placed) is ¾” but the full lip at the top is 1 ½” around.
The edges of the flowers were intentionally rough, so it’s hard to see chips. I’ve only been able to spot one. The bottom label has torn off.
The label was ripped off the bottom so I don’t know who the maker was. I’m also not sure of the time period when it was made. I’ve seen similar vases that were said to have been made in the 1960s or 1970s, but again, I’m not sure of the timeframe for this one. But I do believe it is vintage because it’s a heavy, substantial piece and they sure don’t make ‘em like that anymore.
I put water in it to make sure it doesn’t leak, and it’s fine. Even if you don’t put fresh flowers in it, it’s a beautiful display piece.
