Pantry Parade
Vintage Tomato Teapot by Pantry Parade Tomato Ware 40s 50s Midcentury Kitchen$36.00
This adorable vintage ceramic tomato teapot was made by Pantry Parade. It is about 5" high from the bottom to top of the lid, 9 ¼” long from the handle to tip of the spout, and 6” wide. It holds a little more than 3 cups.
There are no chips, cracks, or scratches, although there are some places where the paint has flecked off, mostly around the top but a few tiny spots elsewhere—see pics. The inside of the teapot is clean but stained slightly from all the tea it has held over the decades. There are also some paint splotches on the opposite color around the green stem and red lid that would have occurred during the production process.
The Stanford Pottery Co. of Sebring, Ohio, introduced its Tomato Ware line in 1949 and marketed it under the name The Pantry Parade.
Marked on bottom "The Pantry Parade."
