This vintage teapot is in Hall’s beautiful cadet blue color.

It is 5 ½” high from the bottom to the top of the handle and 9 ½” long from handle to tip of the spout, and holds 6 cups.

The teapot has a chip on its spout and a small chip on the inner rim. It is also missing a large chunk (about 1 1/8” long) of its inner lid. The teapot is still quite usable (the missing piece on the inner lid doesn’t affect its ability to hook onto the body of the pot) and other than the chip on the spout, it would look on the outside to be in super condition since the inner lid isn’t visible from the outside. These issues are reflected in the low price. The gold trim shows little wear, more so around the spout. There's a little bit of staining on the inside.

Hall began producing the hook teapot in 1940 although I’m not sure of this one’s exact age. The Hook Cover teapot was advertised as having a lid that would not fall off when pouring because it hooked to the body of the teapot.
