This is a vintage Tahari red plain tweed boucle jacket and skirt set from the 1990s.

The jacket is a size 12 but please go by these measurements because Tahari’s standard for size 12 might have changed since then. It is 40” underarm to underarm, 24” long and 24” long dolman sleeves. It has patch pockets set an angle in the front. The plaids all match at seams. The jacket has some pulls to the boucle. The lining’s seams under both armpits need to be stitched back together, and a little bit of lining is discolored in in the back. See pictures.

The skirt doesn’t have a size tag because it was altered to be made bigger. Its measurements are 34” waist, 18” long, and 42” at the hips. The skirt has a back zipper. The plaids match at seams. There’s a little bit of pulling of the boucle and a section where the lining needs to be reattached to the waist.

Boucle is 62% acrylic, 15% wool, 14% polyester, and 9% polyamide.

Other than the conditions noted, these pieces are in great condition and still stylish.
