This Beautiful Bracelet is a Circle and is an Elongated Checkerboard Design Bangle. This Lovely Piece is multicolored and has laminations on the sides. The colors are gorgeous: Pink, Green, Aqua, Brown, Lilac, Red, and Yellow. It is signed Shultz on the inside.

Some History of the Shultz Company - There is a very interesting book available to purchase called "Shultz Bakelite Jewelry" by Karima Parry. It was written in 2002. At that time they had been making handmade pieces for about 10 years from vintage 1920's to the 1950's bakelite. He and his wife work together to produce these beautiful pieces.
Pricing - On page 94 of the "Shultz Bakelite Jewelry" book it shows an octagonal bangle, identical to this one other than this one has more colors. It is 1/2" wide like this one and they state the retail to be $1000.

MINT CONDITION - This piece came directly from the owner and designer of the Shultz Bakelite Jewelry company. It has just been sanded and polished and will regain patina with age. These pieces are really special and there are many collectors who love the Shultz bracelets and brooches.
