This oversized locket is so sweet— it's a functioning locket, which opens with hinges so that something can be placed inside (and worn near to your heart). It features a porcelain plaque front with a purple and blue floral design, set in a millegrain bezel and circled by tiny seed pearls. It was made by Avon in the late 1960s/early 1970s, a period from which Avon jewelry is particularly collectible. It measures 1 13/16" long with the bale x 1 3/8" wide. Note that the chain is not included but it can be worn on any fine chain.
