This set of papier mache bunnies was made in Japan in the 1960s. I have seen one or the other for sale but have rarely seen a pair available together.

They have been well loved—and well handled, as you can see from their bumps and bruises.

Mr. Bunny is dressed in a gray suit. One of his ears and one of his shoes have been broken in a few pieces. Both were repaired, but not expertly. See pics.

Mrs. Bunny is dressed in a pale blue gray dress. She has some slight chips to her ears and on one shoe.

They are 8" tall.

Both have foil stamps saying Japan on the bottom.
