Vintage Museum brooch of the Roman Goddess of Flowers, "Flora", replicated from the early 1800s. This is from the Society for the Preservation New England SPNEA collection. Since 1910, SPNEA has compiled the largest collection of New England antiquities from the 17th century onward.

The Flora brooch is fully gilded on black gold Victorian Style Art Pin Enamel Gilt. It's now known as "Historic New England". This pin was a replica of an original that was part of their collection. She's fully gilded on a black enamel background with a gilt self-frame to match her flowing dress and scarf. It has a secure rollover clasp.
