This is just such a fun coat made of 100% wool in a gorgeous mix of plaid/tartan red and green. The style is a car coat with a mod flair. The coat is yoked in the front with a sweet collar. There are three green buttons down the front for closure and a snap at the neck. The coat has large pockets on the front and from the bust down the coat fits loosely. The coat is lined in a brown rayon acetate and it has a few tags on the inside. One is an Anderson’s of Edinburgh Scotland House, Alexandria Virginia. I believe this is the realtor tag and the other one is the maker tag. It reads, made in the Republic of Ireland, Boru by Jimmy Hourihan of Dublin. Who by the way still makes luxurious outerwear in Dublin. The coat is also marked a vintage size 10 but I would say it is closest to a modern size 6-8.

Condition:

This car coat is in great shape with only one minor issue; the lining has faded and may have once been green, but I can't say for sure. Otherwise, the coat has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
