Vintage Milk Glass White Hobnail Ruffled Edge Basket 8 Wedding Farmhouse Cottage Decor Easter Basket

This charming milk glass basket with hobnails a ruffled top edge is beautiful on its own or with something in it. As you can see in the picture, I put vintage silk millinery flowers in it as a display. Other people use them for candy, potpourri, in guest rooms or bathrooms for toiletries—you name it.

The basket is 8 ¾” high (to top of the handle), 5” long and 3 ¼” wide.

The edges of the handle are different on either end. One end looks less finished and has a rough spot that does not look like a chip—see pics of it and the other end of the handle for comparison. Some of the hobnails are indented, which would have occurred during the production process. Otherwise, there are no chips, cracks, or noticeable scratches.

It is not marked but I believe it was made by Fenton.

The props displayed in the dish in the pictures are not part of this listing. I just wanted to show you all you can do with milk glass! (I do have vintage glass ball ornaments available in other listings if you're interested in those.)

Milk glass is the new ironstone for collectors because it’s so much more affordable yet just as beautiful. As you can see from the pictures, there are lots you can do with a bowl like this.
