Vintage mid century set of 12 Hazel Atlas octagonal purple glass plates. The set includes 4 large dinner plates, 4 salad plates, and 4 small dessert plates / saucers. These plates are in the "Moroccan Amethyst" pattern with raised outer edges. Hazel Atlas created this pattern in the 1940's for lovers of purple (Amethyst glass). They remained popular into the early 1960's. These stunning deep purple glass plates with their sleek octagonal design would make a great addition to your dining room! Excellent condition.
