Get a sophisticated, true New Look-era piece for your wardrobe with this buttoned-down top by Georgiana...

This lovely blouse may have once been part of a two-piece set, but it is clearly in the style of Dior's New Look, which erupted onto the fashion scene in the late 1940's. It is made of a medium weight woven fabric, in deep and rich sapphire blue color, and with a slightly iridescent sheen. The short sleeves have turned up cuffs. The modest neckline has a mock-lapel detail made from a braided cord trim in black. This trim also adorns the smallish hip pockets. Five black faceted plastic buttons are featured at the center front (top button has been replaced by a vintage look-alike button with slightly more shine to its facets -see pics). Blouse is unlined. Overall condition is near perfect, with no flaws to note! Only label reads 'Georgiana'.
