This one-of-a-kind vintage pendant is made from a genuine murex seashell (native to the Mediterranean Sea) which has been mounted in a gold-tone pendant. I love the way that the shell appears to be dipped in gold, with the gilt emphasizing its beautiful organic shape: Mother Nature is the best designer. It's originally from Italy, and I love to imagine the adventures it has been on. It can be worn with any chain, or cord, as a necklace, or attached elsewhere as a charm. Measures about 2" long with bail.
