This is such a great color of brown—it’s neutral enough to go with so many outfits. It is made of velvet with netting. The netting is in great condition, with only one little rip near the bow that is hardly noticeable.

Since it’s a headband construction, it can be configured for a wide number of head sizes. It is about 8” long if stretched.

There’s no milliner’s label, just a label that says it was made by the United Hatters, Cap & Millinery Workers International Union.

It was probably made in the 1950s or 1960s.
