The body of this delicious little number is made of a loose straw-like material. The netting is dotted with little dots of what I think is chenille. Bows made of ribbon with a rhinestone in the middle surround the top of the hat.

There are a few holes in the netting (see pictures).

The headsize is about 6”. Since it’s meant to sit at the top of the head, wrap a tape measure around the top of your head to determine if it will fit you. You’ll most likely need a hat pin, which I have included at no charge (I happened to have one with a black chenille tip!).

I believe this hat is from the 1960s. The milliner’s label inside says “Mr. John Demi-Chapeau New York Paris.” Mr. John was famous for haute couture hats.

Comes with a box (I’m not sure if it’s the original box, but it’s the one with it when I got the hat).
