Vintage Emmon's "Magic Lantern" Lariat Necklace Pendant in Original Box! Mother of Pearl inside lanterns

Vintage Emmons Magic Lantern Book Piece MOP Tassel Chain Necklace is such a unique necklace! There are 2 mother of pearl lantern dangles. 

What makes this even more unique is that each lantern is set with a spring  ring clasp so that the location of each lantern can be changed or the number of lanterns used on the chain can be changed. 

The array of options for wearing the Emmons Magic Lantern Pieces is depicted on page 26 in Fifty Years of Collectible Jewelry; 1925-1975 by Lillian Baker. 

Exceptional condition, the necklace measures 35" long and each lantern measures 2 1/2" long, approximately 3/4" in diameter, and the chain and lanterns weigh a total of 60 grams. 

There is also an attached Emmons hang tag.
