This is a colorful enameled Eastern Star surrounded by small rhinestones and sits in the middle of a thin rhinestone bracelet. The small Eastern Star symbol measures 3/8 inch across. The emblem sits on open work .75 inch rhinestone circle. The tiny clear rhinestones measure 1/16 inch each and are connected to a delicate, 6.5 inch silvertone bracelet, fitting an average female wrist. It closes with a silvertone fold over clasp.

The Order of the Eastern Star is a Masonic appendant body open to both men and women. It was established in 1850. Its appellation also implies a relationship with the planet Venus, also called the “eastern star.” Each point on the star has an emblem of a different biblical heroine (Adah, Ruth, Esther, Martha, and Electa) and the qualities they represent- fidelity, constancy, loyalty, faith, and love.
