These are knockouts. They’re large clip-on earrings with black enamel and clear rhinestones set in silverplate. They were made by Art Deco 89 and are rare.

Art Deco 89 made high-quality jewelry for only one year, 1989. It had the rights to reproduce famous-maker, high-end Art Deco designs from the 1920s and 30s. The company was founded by Larry Joseph, who was an employee and then owner of the famed Hattie Carnegie Co. I’m not sure why the company lasted only one year, but it’s a testament to the quality of its pieces that they are now widely collectible for their beauty, craftsmanship and rarity.

The earrings are a little over 1 ½” wide and 2” long. They’re in excellent condition, with good color in the stones and no missing stones.
