Vintage desk letter tray, office tray, in/out file tray in a brown marbled color masonite wood or hardwood. The corners are joined with sturdy molded plastic joints. They have holes in the for some type of fitting so that another tray could be stacked above the bottom tray. Bottom of the tray is also hardwood. It has 4 black rubber feet. It's in very good condition with some minor scuff on the plastic corners and a little wear in a couple of spots. None of this will get in the way of the cool vintage way (and classy) it will look when displayed. Please see the photos.
Masonite is a type of "engineered wood" which simply means man-made, usually by compressing together fibres and different materials in one way or another to make a board. It's considered very sturdy.
