Vintage Deep Green Glass Bowl with Scalloped Rim Ribbed Pedestal$14.00
This vintage glass bowl is a rich shade of dark green. It has a scalloped rib and a pretty ribbed pedestal. It was made in the 1950s or 1960s as a florist’s container for floral or plant arrangements. EO Brody Co is stamped on the bottom, but the piece was made by another company for EO Brody to sell to florists.
It’s about 3 ¼” high and 6 ½” around at the top.
Of course, it can still be used as a florist’s bowl but there are many other uses for it as well: small serving bowl, candy dish, potpourri dish, or holder for a pillar candle. You could put small items in it as a display, or just display it empty!
There are no chips, cracks or scratches. There’s some waviness in the glass that isn’t a flaw but is rather an indication of its age.
Marked “E. O. Brody Co M 2000 Cleveland, O. U. S.A.”
