Fancy ruffled edge Czech cased glass compote, or pedestal bowl. An open bowl for a buffet, dining table, or to add to a collection. This is a very nice piece! It has signs of use commensurate with it's age but nothing that compromises the use of it. There are other pieces in the store this compliments to make a lovely setting. It can be used every day or special occasions to display your favorite things.

These pieces were obtained from a estate auction from an avid Czech glass and pottery collector. This item may also be from the Lancaster Glass Co. While we purchased it as “Czech” with documented receipts however we want to make sure our buyer is aware Lancaster has a “Marguerite” collection that looks similar. When Czech glass is unmarked from the early 1900’s pre WW I it is hard to discern the maker without expert experience. So we have been guided. Please research or be comfortable that art glass is beautiful! These pieces certainly are.
