This whimsical and beautifully crafted vintage box was made in Japan for Neiman Marcus. It is ceramic and appears to be porcelain. It's intended as a jewelry or keepsake box but it is small and the shape doesn't allow it to hold very much. It's 3. 5" long, 2. 5" wide, and 3. 25" high. It makes a great gift for any occasion - Christmas, Easter, Birthday, Wedding. It's in excellent condition - with just one tiny mark on the rabbit's head.
